A useful distinction

A goal should connect with the activity being planned and the evidence the group can collect responsibly. “Run three sessions” and “change everyone’s life” are different kinds of claim. The second cannot be inferred merely from completing the first.

Put it into practice

Write one activity goal and a separate question about its usefulness. Define how completion will be recorded and which broader outcomes remain unknown. Avoid collecting sensitive participant data simply to make a report sound more substantial than the project’s purpose requires.
