A useful distinction
A finished event can be counted, but broader effects may remain uncertain. A review should distinguish the activity completed from what participants reported and what the group has not established. Attractive publicity is not a substitute for that distinction.
Put it into practice
Compare the original bounded goal with the available records. Note what worked, what changed and what remains unknown. Use appropriately collected feedback in its own context, and avoid extrapolating a few comments into a claim about everyone served by the project.
